Laura Judd was born in 1968 and raised in Michigan.  She lived there for just less than 30 years before relocating to Las Vegas, NV, to marry the love of a thousand lifetimes - her  husband, Wayne.

Currently she runs a small home-based business that deals in vintage rhinestones, jewelry, antiques, and collectables and her art prints which allows her to spend more time with her children and family.

Laura and Wayne have five children between the two of them and two precious grandchildren with one on the way.

She has had no post-high school education in the arts, however, she has spent a number of years studying and working on her own to sharpen her skills.  Laura has hopes of attending college in the future to further broaden her skills, especially in the figure illustration areas.

Laura has worked with many types of media, from Prismacolor to oil paint but she has recently begun her journey into digital art.  Most of what you will find here has been created with her WACOM tablet and Adobe Photoshop.  She has used other programs, such as Micrografx Picture Publisher, Paint Shop Pro, and PainterClassic, but she has found Adobe Photoshop to be the most useful.

While the majority of her artistic expression lies in the digital art world, she is also exploring other genres such as abstract and surrealism.

She is also a musician/songwriter/poet and has had poetry published in Isosceles (Two Sides Equal)  and both poetry and artwork published in Maelstrom magazine which has been featured at the annual Dodge Festival in New Jersey.  Currently she has upcoming poetry to be published in Dream Fantasy International, formerly known as Dream International Quarterly.  Some of her favorite poets are Pablo Neruda, Emily Dickinson, Walt Whitman, and Jack Kerouac.

Within the past few years, Laura has embarked on a trek into photography and with the recent addition of lights & reflectors to her equipment, she is in the process of converting one of the spare bedrooms into a photography studio.  Currently she is using a Sony DSC F717 digital camera for most of her work.    While she is just learning, she hopes to broaden her skills to include portrait, macro, abstract, and landscape photography.

Her musical work is primarily for self expression, however, she has recorded several original compositions in her husband's recording studio, samples of which can be found on her music page.
